2 year olds - Ratio 1:6

Two year olds are very curious and touch everything! We are here to help them expand their vocabulary, help them grow with independence and help them understand the concept of cooperative play. This will be your child’s first experience in a school setting. Our goal is to help them become comfortable and learn how to socialize with their peers. 

What will my child learn/do in the class?

Children in this classroom will be introduced to the basics of what goes on in a school classroom. Students’ will become familiar with:

-Circle time

-Calendar Reading

-Classroom Routine

-Recognizing letters in their name

-Fine and gross motor skills 

-Arts and crafts

-Holding Scissors

-Recognition of letters

-Shape Recognition

ALl Stars

3 year olds - Ratio 1:12

Three year olds have now grown into the part in their life where they become a bit more comfortable with themselves and have gained a vocabulary of about 300 words. They have become good at listening to their surroundings and respond to directions. They become more intrigued with “how and “why” Our goal is to help continue igniting their curiosity. 

What will my child learn/do in the class?

Children in this classroom will continue/be introduced to what goes on in a school classroom. They will be engaged with:

-Circle Time(sing along)

-Recognizing the Alphabet letters 

-Recognition of Colors 

-Counting up to 30

-Tracing their name

-Cutting straight along the lines

-Holding pencils, markers and crayons correctly

Pre-K

4 Year Olds Ratio 1:12

This is the year where Pre-K children will be making the transition to Kindergarten. Our goal is to have our students transition as smooth and positive as possible.Children will become familiar with a routine in and out of the classroom. They will be introduced to homework and the responsibilities that come with it, 

What will my child learn/do in the class?

• The alphabet 

• The alphabet in sign language 

• Beginning sounds 

• Blends

• Sight words 

• Shapes other than circle, square, triangle,

• Writing their name without help

• The Pledge of Allegiance

• Days of the week 

• Seasons 

• Counting 1-20 in English and Spanish

We are open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We welcome children age 2 through 6; of all races, nationalities and religions as long as we can meet the needs of the child.

MVP Preschool/Childcare provides children with a morning snack with milk at 9:30 a.m. and an afternoon snack with juice at 3:30 p.m. Parents will need to provide a bagged lunch for their child daily.
