Background + Philosophy
We are very excited you are considering our school for your child’s preschool education. I want to take a moment to tell you a bit of the history I have had with the schools facility throughout the years.
Before I started the journey of becoming the owner of MVP Preschool. I first began as a pre-k teacher aide back in 1988. At that time the school was named Young Explorer Preschool, under the ownership of Paula Paradiso. I was a teacher aide for about a year until I received my teaching certificate. Young Explorer Preschool provided care for many children for 15 years.
Young Explorer was then changed to First Steps Preschool in 2003 under the ownership of Andrea Berti, who is a family member of the previous owner of Young Explorer. When First Steps Preschool opened its doors, I still continued the journey, but this time not only as a pre-k teacher, but also became the school’s director. First Steps Preschool/Childcare provided care for children for 16 years.
In November 2018 my dream of having a preschool of my own had finally come true, I became the new owner of what is now MVP Preschool. Although our Preschool names have changed throughout the years, I will continue to provide a safe and comfortable environment where children can feel open and free to explore and give them the additional support to continue learning.
The staff has continued to be here with the school through new ownerships and name changes. They too continue to provide love and support for every one of our students. Our school grounds have great sentimental value, not only to me, but to all the families who have enrolled their children throughout the previous years. We have had students always come back to visit or enroll their own children.
We hope we can be a big part of your child’s early childhood development.
